In a powerful step towards inclusivity in the trucking sector, Wheels AZ, in collaboration with Power Foundation, organized a special facilitation ceremony to honour women making a difference in trucking and transportation. The ceremony was held during the special month of March i.e Women’s Empowerment Month

The event celebrated women from diverse roles including drivers, trainers and industry professionals. Each having courage to break barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry. The core motive behind this initiative was to recognize achievements and inspire greater participation of women in logistics and transportation. By showcasing real role models, the event aimed to encourage more women to explore opportunities.
Greater participation of women not only strengthens the industry but also brings fresh perspectives, improved safety awareness and a more progressive outlook to the sector. The event was attended by Divjot Dhillon, founder of Power Program. The presence of industry leaders and change-makers further reinforced the commitment to driving meaningful change.
The belief is that empowerment is not just about opportunity, but also about visibility and support. This initiative reflects a continued effort to create impact by celebrating those who are already leading the way. As the industry evolves, such efforts will play a key role in shaping a future that is not only growing, but also inclusive and empowering for all.
